Baruch Guesthouse house has opened its second addition to the family, Baruch Guest House on 29 Lovell Avenue, a 7 bedroom 4 star guesthouse. Fully equipped with a state of the art boardroom and conference facility that can comfortably seat up to 22 delegates with ease. The boardroom area can be booked separately for meetings or can be part of a all inclusive package that includes overnight stays.

“We needed a conference venue for a small group of language professionals and started by obtaining (some rather pricey) quotes from other facilities in the area. Baruch gave us the best quote, and when I saw what they had to offer, the decision was easy.
On our arrival, we were met with warm-hearted hospitality – Hester, thank you for your utmost professionality, but even more, for the style and grace that you bring to the venue. All the details were in place – from the mints and stationery to the laptop that Alison was able to conjure up when we realised a slip on our side! Alison, thank you for your eye to detail, patient assistance and friendliness.
The food was outstanding – authentic home cooking that reflects the warm interior and ambiance.
Our first presenter form Johannesburg stayed for two nights, and it was so reassuring to know that she is in such hospitable hands.
I definitely recommend Baruch as an upmarket, yet warm-hearted conference facility for smaller groups of professionals and academics. Natalie, you and Baruch are in a class of your own!”

“Our IT team needed a conference venue for an IT breakaway. The staff at Barush ensured the equipment worked effortlessly and whatever we needed for stationery was taken care of right down to the tic tacs. Lunch was a delicious and the venue was perfect. To the owner Natalie and Hester the manageress we thank you for your hospitality. Rest assured we will be visiting soon. What a beautiful gem!”

“Last week I held a training conference at Baruch for 3 days and I wish to thank the ladies for all of their assistance and help. The room was set up each morning with paper, pens, pencils and tic tacs and the media and IT facilities worked excellently. When my netbook didn’t connect to the projector, the ladies of Baruch rushed to lend me their laptop to work from. Water was provided for each individual and during breaks tea and coffee with cakes or biscuits were also provided. Hester and Natalie were very professional and always on time.
I also stayed at the Guest House during my conference and I have to say that I felt more like I was staying with friends, the welcome and service was so sincere and lovely. The food was wonderful and big portions and I felt like a friend by the time I left. Thank you for a lovely visit.”
